Ask the JDBC driver to timeout if it fails to connect within a time limit
Only some databases support this option, but if the server is down or the connection fails, this will display the error faster. In exceptional circumstances this may cause the connection to be cancelled before the server responds, but if the connection is that slow it probably isn't usable anyway
This option makes SQLEditor save passwords that you enter into the database connection window even if you don't specifically save them to a preset connection.
Connections saved to a preset will normally always save the password
