Importing from a database

The File→Import From Database... function will connect to an existing database and extract the structure, it will then create a new document containing that structure.

SQLEditor doesn't keep a link between the newly created document and the original database.

To create a new document from an existing database

1. Choose File→Import From Database...
2. Enter the connection details into the Import Database Panel
3. Click the Import Button
