The Overview Panel shows a miniature view of the whole of the current document, with a rectangle overlayed to show the portion that is currently visible in the main document window
You can drag the visible rectangle using the mouse and the main document scroll position will change to match
If you click on the overview panel the visible area will centered on the point where you clicked.
